Sungfeel Yun creates stunning and expansive sculptural matrices that embody energy, whilst Ayotte�s painting practice explores visual interruptions that reference computer screens and analytical abstractions. Upon reflection, aesthetic and conceptual nodes reveal themselves. Ayotte and Yun�s work freeze and release instants by severing and connecting events within multiple time-scales.
Ayotte and Yun�s work can be seen as a reflection of contemporary culture�s attraction towards the indeterminate. Their painting and sculpture opposes univocal sequencing of events. By disclosing fields of possibilities and purposefully creating ambiguity Eric and Sungfeel open their work to a spectrum of interpretive arrays.
