Jacob Love

Jacob Love’s first solo show, Line of Flight, documents a world that never was. Inspired by some of London’s grandest spaces, Love’s large format photographs, and vibrant portraits both confuse and console the viewer with images that are visually sumptuous and unnervingly ungrounded. His utopian photographs of swimming pools provide the viewer with a re-envisioning of a familiar British leisure space, and provokes to question notions of freedom and self-fulfilment.
