May 21 to June 26
Jeremy Wood & Hugh Pryor
Jeremy Wood and Hugh Pryor have been researching their movements on a large scale for nearly ten years now. Since the year 2000, Wood has been tracking all of his movements digitally with a GPS device.
Wood & Pryor's project considers all modes of travel, from the trivial and the routine, via the special and the ordeal. The ways in which we approach and treat our travels can reveal a great deal about us. The qualities of our tracks, like the traces drawn by a pen, can be determined by our movements and expressions.
On exhibition at Tenderpixel Gallery this May and June are a series of spectacular slit scan images created from Wood & Pryor's collaborative effort in drawing a pentagram over Europe.
